Intro to Bag Making
You will be participating as a class in the construction of this tote bag.
At the end of class we will have a raffle and one lucky person will walk away with the group constructed bag.
Here is what you will learn:
1. Reading Bag patterns - Learn the vernacular to transform the patterns into easy to understand directions!
2. Interfacing - you will learn how to properly cut and apply interfacing to your project
3. Importance of cutting fabric - cutting and labeling your project for easy peasy piecing
4. Assembly - why the details matter!
5. The right feet make all the difference!
6. Zippers aren’t scary!
A small kit will be available to purchase that will include a zipper, SF101, a large scrap of fabric, and large scrap of soft and stable.
