Wool Applique Class

This class is to introduce you to the world of Wool Applique which is going through a revival at this time. Wool Applique is traditionally done by hand using embroidery floss or pearle cotton. There are several embroidery stitches which can be used, especially on complex projects. In this class we will keep it simple and learn only the blanket stitch and stem stitch to make a small table mat that can be used for a candle or decorative item. The pictures provided above are incomplete, but we wanted you to see a sample. You will have a piece of art when you have completed the project, whether you choose to do one or the whole sampler.
